North Kincardine is a beautiful pocket of land just south of Aberdeen City in the North East Coast of Scotland. Anne Murray has been commissioned by North Kincardine Public Art Group to shine a light on the hidden gems and places you can explore (link to brief here). Join her on her journey around this wonderful place as she meet groups, create trails, make installations and produces a map for everyone in the area.
North Kincardine Public Art Group was set up in 2011 to commission the North Kincardine Master Plan carried out by visual artist Rachel O’Neill in 2011. Following on from that initial consultation and plan produced by Rachel, the Explore Kincardine Project was developed into a brief and is funded by a number of partners including : Aberdeenshire Council’s Percent for Art and Integrated Travel Town Partnership.
